Written by Roberto Armena
Want to study right in the heart of Downtown Toronto - the fourth largest city in North America? Ryerson University offers a four year program viathe Ted Rogers School of Business, leading to an Honours Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) that lets you study business where it matters, right within the largest business district in Canada.
Majors
When applying to the BComm program you apply directly to one (or more) of six general streams: Accounting and Finance, Business Management, Business Technology Management, Retail Management, Health Services Management, and Hospitality and Tourism Management.
Please note that certain streams require you to select a further major at the end of your first year.
Co-operative Education
All of the above streams in the BComm program allow you to add on a co-operative education component. This means your school terms will be interspersed with work terms where you'd get a four-month placement in a real life company.
The best part? You get paid while gaining real work experience - It's a win-win!
With a 97% placement rate, 90% of co-op students landing full-time job offers before they graduate, and an average co-op income of $36,000, there's no going wrong.
